Our founder Yves Cougnaud inherited his skill in metalworking from generations of blacksmiths.
After the War, mechanisation called for more and more tools and Yves Cougnaud quickly became known for his ability to produce fast and well. He made mobile site offices to meet the needs of local builders, but soon the exponential rise in the property market led him towards modular construction. Beginning with site accommodation, Yves Cougnaud displayed his imagination and developed a concept of sustainable modular construction.

hen his four sons joined him in the early 1980s, they formed a new generation of builders who are still innovating to meet the growing demand. Together, they are developing the concept and the market by offering changing and adaptable solutions (an architectural approach and increasing high quality customised finishes).
Sustain
In just over 35 years, Yves Cougnaud has become France’s leading company in selling modular constructions and the second-largest hire company. Its skills are now shared among more than 1,000 staff, covering all the building trades .
